My work explores the fluidity of gesture and language, transforming writing into a visual form. Using instinctive, calligraphic movements, I create marks that oscillate between chaos and control, evoking the rhythm of handwriting. Letters stretch, distort, and fragment, dissolving into abstraction and shifting language into something purely visual.

Cut-out techniques serve as the starting point for layering my text, grounding each piece in meaning, even as the words themselves become unreadable. While the intention is not for the text to be read, it remains an essential foundation—an entry point into the work. Scribbling and mark-making loosen my hand, allowing intuition to guide the process. I build depth through layers of graphite, pencil, or pastels, combined with acrylic, creating a dynamic interplay of texture and movement.

Influenced by artists such as Cy Twombly, Helen Frankenthaler, and Brice Marden, I embrace spontaneity, materiality, and the physical act of mark-making. My work invites viewers to experience language beyond its literal meaning, engaging with it as a visceral, visual journey.
